I built nooki.me, a simple and minimal discussion platform powered by ATProto (the open social protocol behind Bluesky).

The idea is to bring back the feel of old-school forums and early web discussions which slower, calmer, and more personal but with the benefits of a decentralized social network.

Most modern social platforms optimize for engagement, not conversation. I wanted something that felt like a place that is small, intentional, and owned by users. ATProto made this possible because posts, comments, communities and identity are all yours — not locked into one app.

Everything but not limited to posts, comments, communities are stored on the AT network, meaning you can move between compatible apps anytime.

The UI is intentionally minimal and only supports text posts at the moment.

I’d love feedback — especially from those who care about the open web, digital minimalism, or the future of social protocols.
