I visited Canada recently and it was remarkable being in a country where everyone didn't have to carry the guilt of directly funding and facilitating a genocide on their shoulders. Witnessed the aftermath of an anti-genocide activist attacked by one of the Zionist fascists though.
A state created out of a crime against humanity has become bound to repeat the same actions that necessitated its creation.
I wonder if they will ever face a true reckoning and be forced to confront the evil they have become. Their murderous and dehumanizing conduct against Palestine has disillusioned the younger generations.
I wonder if they will finally bear the weight of a national guilt for re-enacting the very horrors they once endured, thereby ending their catch-all excuse of branding any and all criticism as antisemitism.
